Yes — twelve editions per year, including special Christmas and Melbourne Design Week editions and the annual Naarm Originals First Nations–led edition in March. The calendar is published twelve months in advance.

Original art, handmade jewellery, ceramics and glass, textiles and wearables, prints, furniture and lighting, and industrial design objects. Every product is made by the person selling it. There is no food or hospitality at this market.

The market runs in light rain. We monitor weather 72 hours ahead of each trading day. In the event of extreme heat (above 35°C), storms, or sustained high winds (above 40km/h), the market may be cancelled. We’ll communicate via our website, newsletter, and social channels at least three hours before the scheduled start time.

Yes. City Square is a flat, hard-paved public space with wide pedestrian access from Swanston Street, Collins Street and Flinders Lane. If you have specific accessibility questions, please contact us.
